Judge My Book by Its Cover!
I need your help! Judge my book cover in the poll below.
Here’s what happened…
I received some feedback on my original book cover. That it's too boring and non-sci-fi. And that it doesn’t match the story or elicit that “I want to read this sci-fi book!” vibe.
The Cloudy Orange Mist cover is supposed to be an image of the mysterious surface of the planet Sara and her fellow starship travelers land on.
The reason I am asking for opinions is because I sometimes get a bit too “esoteric” in my choices, and then I tend to lose people’s interest. So when I heard this current cover isn’t quite sci-fi enough or exciting enough and not matching the story enough, I began thinking maybe I should go with a more typical cover.
Soo -- what about The Woman in Space cover? My new proposal for a cover. Sara, the main character. Yay or nay? What do you all think? Would it make you more likely to want to read this book?
