Did you figure out what language it is?
Since I live and breathe English 24/7 and have no immediate friends who speak my mother tongue, I started a podcast in the small and peculiar dialect I grew up speaking. I imagined it as a lighthouse of sorts - sending out little light beams of my language from the other side of the world. It is a Swedish-Finnish dialect spoken only by a few thousand people. Some of the words are so different from the standard Swedish that non-dialect speakers struggle with understanding. In fact, some of the sentence structures are related to the language spoken by the old Norse! The Soundcloud collection is dedicated to that small part of the world and people who speak this lovely and humor-filled dialect.
