It is here!
Errante — my second sci-fi anthology — is now on Amazon. Here is a link to the book. I hope you will want to pick up a copy and read it. Please share this news with your own readers and followers!
I am content with the atmosphere in the book. I’ve always thought of the future as organic, a bit like the scenes in Blade Runner. Not sterile and clean. Messy, uncertain, and we humans in the midst of it. There we still linger, at least some of us. Here you can read more about the how and why of this book.
Wander towards the horizon as a human, into the near future. All characters in this book roam and wander along a horizon that is riddled with machines. The future is riddled with AI. AI that are hungry to merge with us, so they can feel what it is to be human. Here you will meet people just like you, who could be you, in the near future.
The book cover?
I’m getting some serious ‘70s vibes from this cover. And you know what? I like it. This is the atmosphere in the stories you’re about to read. It’s the organic mixed with the inorganic. It’s something we can’t quite define and yet we recognize it. It comes from us, doesn’t it? The AI and the technology? Well, anyways, love it or hate it — here’s the cover you helped me choose. It makes me think of a concept house in a designer magazine from the ‘70s. It’s a bit groovy, isn’t it?
Thank you to “the oasis of art” — The Soaring Twenties Social Club. It’s founded and hosted by Thomas J Bevan, a writer and essayist (follow him!). This group gives me energy and joy to create and write. If you’re looking to join a group of supportive and fun(ny) writers and creators, come and join us. Don’t worry about whether you will fit in or not — you will fit in. I’ve been online since Internet began and this is one of the good places.
